Tigercomm helped HSC stand up a multi-company platform to run a campaign that engaged solar industry influencers, deployed research-based content, and attracted national media coverage. It highlighted Chinese solar’s reliance on forced labor and dirty coal plants – 520 lbs. burned to produce each 40-lb solar panel!


Subsidized Chinese competition threatened the market position of America’s top manufacturer of the high-purity polysilicon used in solar panels. To grow its sales, Hemlock Semiconductor (HSC) needed solar buyers to consider the benefits of domestically made products.
