DuBois has over a decade of experience, spending the first half of his career in politics, beginning on Capitol Hill and then working primarily on political campaigns at the federal and state legislative levels. Since 2021, he has worked on public affairs and community engagement for utility-scale clean energy projects, including roles within the public affairs and community engagement divisions at NextEra Energy Resources and Treaty Oak Clean Energy. These experiences give him a direct view of how political tactics can be utilized to win high-stakes local permitting fights for clean energy projects.
Based in Austin, Texas, he helps manage his family’s South Texas ranch and draws on his background as a Sewanee: The University of the South football player and hunter to connect with rural communities and help clients earn support for their projects.
