Account Executive

    The Job 
    We’re looking for a clean economy communicator and innovator who wants to advance our clean economy offering – already the best in the industry. As an Account Executive, you will:

    • Deliver account services – you will conduct research; build press lists, help produce op-eds, blog posts, marketing collateral and other written content; and, monitor news coverage and social media conversations for our clients. In some cases, you will be asked to provide event/conference support.
    • Build and secure relationships with media decision makers – you will be charged with identifying, building and delivering attention-generating stories and content to targeted trade and energy media to help achieve client objectives.
    • Support account work success – you will work closely with TGC’s account managers to help conceive of and execute marketing campaigns that increase awareness and consideration for our clients’ products, services and causes.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of success in your communication career.
    • Energy and business media contacts (a plus).
    • Creative!
    • Great networker, task manager and writer.
    • Able to handle large, multifaceted projects through smart, efficient execution.
    • BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
